Camden
County Parks Department offer many recreational opportunities
and outdoor activities including nature walks and environmental
education. Camden County also is home to Clementon Amusement Park
and Splash World Waterpark. Ride one of the best, largest log
flumes in America. Six Flags Great Adventure has 12 roller coasters
and a natural preserve with 1,200 animals roaming freely.
Cooper
River
Cooper River Park (346.55 acres) runs through Pennsauken, Cherry
Hill, Collingswood and Haddon Township. The park is bounded by
North and South Park Drives, Route 130 and Grove Street.
Haddon
Lake Park
Haddon Lake Park (73.47 acres) is located in Haddon Heights, Audubon
and Mount Ephraim. The park runs from Station Avenue to 10th Avenue
and from Kings Highway to the Black Horse Pike.
Lake
Worth
Lake Worth (43.9 acres) is located in Clementon and Lindenwold
off of the White Horse Pike at Rosemond Avenue. Lake Worth and
a tributary of Big Timber Creek
Laurel
Ravine
Laurel Ravine (63.25 acres) is located in Lindenwold and Gloucester
Township and is bounded by Chews Landing/Clementon Road and Laurel
Road. Mason's Run runs through the property.
Maria
Barnaby Greenwald Memorial Park
Greenwald Park (47.21 acres) is located in Cherry Hill. The park
is bounded by Park Boulevard (just south of Rt. 70), Grove Street
and Kings Highway.
New
Brooklyn Park
New Brooklyn Park (758.38 acres) is located in Winslow Township
between New Freedom and New Brooklyn Roads, north of the Atlantic
City Expressway, east of Rt. 536.
New
Camden Park
New Camden Park (23.84 acres) is located in Camden and is bounded
by Wildwood Avenue, Park Boulevard, Baird Boulevard and Pine Street.
The Cooper River is adjacent to New Camden Park.
Newton
Lake Park
Newton Lake Park (103.39 acres) runs through Collingswood, Oaklyn
and Haddon Township and is bounded by Cuthbert Boulevard and the
White Horse Pike.
Slims
Ranch
Slims Ranch (59.55 acres) is located in Lindenwold and Gloucester
Township and is bounded by Chews Landing Road and Somerdale Road.The
north branch of Big Timber Creek borders one side of the property.
Wallworth
Park
Wallworth Park (55.65 acres, including Evans Pond) is located
in Cherry Hill and Haddonfield and is bounded by Kings Highway
and Brace Road.
Dr.
Ulysses S. Wiggins Waterfront Park
Wiggins Park (51.22 acres) is located in Camden between the Delaware
River and Mickle Boulevard.The Delaware River is adjacent to the
park.
